EU Sales & Regulatory Compliance

We sell to Switzerland as it is not a member of the EU or the European Economic Area. Any duties or Import fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Due to changes in European Union product safety and packaging legislation, including the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and packaging/Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements, we are currently unable to offer delivery to countries within the European Union, this does not reflect our willingness to sell to these countries, it is a decision of compliance with regulations.

The GPSR places additional obligations on businesses selling products into the EU, including requirements concerning product safety information, traceability and an appropriate EU-based responsible economic operator for products supplied by businesses established outside the EU. (EUR-Lex⁠)

In addition, EU packaging legislation places obligations on businesses concerning the packaging they place on the market, including registration, reporting and producer-responsibility requirements which can vary between individual Member States. The new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation also introduces further requirements from 12 August 2026. (Environment⁠)

As a small UK-based business, we therefore cannot currently supply customers in EU Member States without putting the necessary compliance, registration and responsible-person arrangements in place. We have taken this decision to ensure that all sales we make remain fully compliant with the applicable legislation.

We sell directly to Canada, Australia and New Zealand using Royal Mail International Tracked service.You will be liable for any customs fees and any local applicable taxes, that may be applicable. You will be charged postage per item, however, should you purchase more than one item we will do our utmost to combine postage cost and refund you for the difference. This does depend on the size of the hats purchased .
